Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated during the first round. She returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound tactics and earned an TKO 2nd round win. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for her performance on the night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous decision.
