Tom Hanks-2-1024x767Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born on the 9th of July 1956. He is an American actor film maker, director, and actor. He is well-known for his dramatic and comedic role and is regarded as to be an American popular culture icon. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was the child of Janet Marylyn, a hospital worker, as well as Amos Mefford Hanks (an itinerant chef). His mother's clan, named "Fraga" and was 100% Portuguese and his father was of predominantly English origins. Tom was raised in what he describes as"a "fractured" family. He did not have any acting experience during his college. This was what helped him start his career. He auditioned in downtown Cleveland for a community theater production. Then the audition, he was invited to Cleveland by the director. This was the point the point where his acting career started.
